Drawing of the Year 2017
VOLA as a part of ”Drawing of the year 2017”
It is with great pleasure that VOLA once again will be a part of the competition “Drawing of the year” in joint venture with schmidt hammer lassen architects and the Danish Arts Foundation hosted by Aarhus School of Architecture. This year’s theme is ‘Everyday Utopia’.
The idea of Everyday Utopia is to inspire the architects to use their ability to dream and draw innovative solutions for the everyday challenges in a perfect society. The proposals can be bold, inspiring, provocative, and innovative for new ways of perceiving everyday utopia.
Students at architecture schools from all over the world will take part in the competition and VOLA is very pleased to be a part of this creative platform that inspire, communicate, and engage with architecture in an artistic way.
Drawings can be submitted no later than the 20th of November 2017 at 12.00 noon.
It is important for VOLA to keep developing and feel inspired to perform the perfect balance between continuity and change in our products. This is a great opportunity for VOLA to support and follow the work of the future generations of architects.
The winner of the 5000 EUR first prize in 2016 was El Hamdi Firas, student af the national School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tunis in Tunisia.
